Support

A human reads everything sent to [email protected]. We aim to reply within two working days, and sooner when something is broken rather than confusing.

Contact us

Email [email protected] for anything: a bug in the app, a question about your account or bill, an API problem, or a forecast that let you down. If you are reporting a problem, two details cut the back-and-forth in half:

For app problems, the app version and your device model help too (in the app under Settings → About). You can also send feedback without leaving the app, under Settings → Send feedback.

Common questions

The forecast was wrong

It happens, and we would rather own it than hide it. Every forecast in WeatherMetro names the weather model behind it, and Model accuracy shows how each model has scored against what actually happened. If a forecast looks systematically off for your place, tell us - that is exactly the report we want.

My location is not found, or the wrong place opens

Search covers 5.2 million places; try the nearest town, or search by region to narrow duplicates. If a place is missing or mapped wrongly, email us the name and country and we will chase it in the location database.

App account and data

No account is needed to use the app. If you made one, you can manage it - including your saved places and privacy choices - from Settings inside the app. To delete your account and the data attached to it, use the delete option under Settings → Account, or email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will do it for you and confirm.

API keys, quotas and billing

API accounts are managed from the dashboard: your key, usage charts, plan and invoices are all self-serve. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card. Quota questions, plan changes and invoicing problems: [email protected].

Where the data comes from

Weather models from ECMWF, NOAA, DWD, Météo-France and others; air quality and history from Copernicus; alerts from the official national feeds. The full list, with licences, is on the attribution page.

Privacy questions

The short version: your location is used to pick a place, then forgotten, and we do not sell data to anyone. The long version is the privacy policy; anything it does not answer, ask us at [email protected].
